Grilled Sweet & Savory Salmon

Ingredients:

  • 3 pounds skin-on salmon fillet

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 2 tablespoons Tee's Original Smoke (or Smoke Extreme for an extra kick)

  • Juice from 1 orange

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce

  • 1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce

  • 6 cloves chopped garlic

  • 2 thumbs chopped fresh ginger

  • 4 green onions, chopped

  • Fresh ground black pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Marinate the Salmon:
    In a mixing bowl, combine the brown sugar, Tee's Original Smoke, orange juice, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, ginger, and black pepper. Mix well. Place the salmon fillet in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over it, ensuring it's well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours, or up to a day for deeper flavor.

  2. Prepare the Grill:
    Preheat your grill to medium heat (about 350°F). Ensure the grates are clean and lightly oiled to prevent sticking.

  3. Grill the Salmon:
    Place the marinated salmon skin-side down on the grill. Close the lid and grill for approximately 20 minutes, or until the top is cooked to your desired doneness. If the grill gets too hot, move the salmon to the indirect heat side to finish cooking without burning.

  4. Serve and Enjoy:
    Once done, remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
